Store Catalog guide

Which ecommerce platforms work with Store Catalog?

Use a supported public store, collection, category, or product URL. These are the platforms and URL types we've tested, along with the limits that matter before you process a catalog.

Based on Source Image Finder testing through October 12, 2026. Storefronts can change after testing.

Eight ecommerce platforms with tested discovery

Store Catalog has dedicated or compatible public-product discovery paths for these eight platforms. Passing a test does not guarantee support for every shop, theme, plugin, or page. The free product preview is the best way to check your specific URL before spending credits.

Shopify

Start with: A public store URL, collection URL, or product URL. Store/collection preview can expose collection and vendor filters.

Tested: Allbirds and other public Shopify product/gallery exports.

Limit: Requires compatible public Shopify catalog data; not Shopify Admin or private inventory.

WooCommerce

Start with: A public store or product URL where a product sitemap can be found.

Tested: Focus Blouse: three gallery photographs, three embedded color variations and valid ZIP metadata.

Limit: A product sitemap is needed for broader discovery; not every store publishes one.

Wix Stores

Start with: A public Wix storefront or product URL with an accessible product sitemap or linked shop products.

Tested: Wix product-page gallery and linked-product discovery tests.

Limit: Discovery may be partial and may depend on the storefront’s public links.

PrestaShop

Start with: A supported public category URL exposing product cards and pagination.

Tested: Store Lashes: 5 products; Molly Bracken dresses: 39 products and 199 gallery photographs.

Limit: A category preview is not automatically a whole-site crawl.

BigCommerce

Start with: A public category page or product page exposing compatible Stencil storefront markers.

Tested: Cornerstone Bath category: 6 products and 10 focused photographs.

Limit: Other themes and restricted storefronts can behave differently.

Magento / Adobe Commerce

Start with: A compatible public category URL or product page using supported Magento storefront markers.

Tested: Magento Luma Watches: 9 products; Marco Hoodie product export.

Limit: Tests covered a public Luma demo; not all Adobe Commerce themes and stores.

Shopware 6

Start with: A compatible public category URL or product page.

Tested: Shopware demo gallery: Demo Produkt 4 images; Westin 1 image.

Limit: The tested demo had unusually small and mixed-format gallery files.

OpenCart

Start with: A compatible public category, featured-products homepage, or product URL.

Tested: OpenCart MacBook and Canon: 8 images across 2 products; Apple Cinema 30" single-image export.

Limit: Only exposed products are discoverable; a featured-products preview is not the full store.

What about Squarespace Commerce?

Source Image Finder can scan public Squarespace product pages for images. Some Squarespace stores may also be discoverable through compatible public sitemaps, but Store Catalog does not have a dedicated Squarespace catalog-discovery adapter. Treat catalog-wide discovery as conditional, and verify the free preview first. For one specific product, use Scan Single Page.

Which URL should I paste?

  1. Try the narrowest useful public URL: a product URL for one item or a supported category/collection URL for a group.
  2. Check the free preview: confirm names, thumbnails, count, and scope. A category page may list fewer products than the entire store.
  3. Select products before processing: preview is free; Business or Scale processing costs 2 credits per successfully processed product.
  4. If a catalog is not discoverable: use Multiple URLs with exact public product-page links, or Scan Single Page for one URL.

What our tests verify and what they do not

Our acceptance checks reviewed actual downloaded ZIPs, image counts, formats, dimensions, product folders, image ownership and metadata paths on the named examples. The tests do not prove that every variant combination is recoverable, that every public storefront exposes a catalog, or that no image is ever missed.

Store Catalog only uses public data it can access. It does not bypass sign-in requirements, captchas, paywalls or other access controls. Public availability does not grant reuse rights.
